I grew up (in USA) before color tv and before the internet. I am amazed that people can now make friends with other people across the world and even talk with them face to face. I do admit to having a problem with most the people I meet and that is age difference. Most younger people don’t want to talk to older people and most of the people my age are not tech savvy (not that I am) or they don’t want to get involved in platforms like Instagram or Flickr. Some just don’t want to learn or just have other things to worry about.

I’ve been married for over 47 years (same wonderful lady), but I do sometimes wonder what my life would have been like if I had been born around 1990. Would I have married someone from another part of the world? Would I be living somewhere else? I’ll never know the answers but I wonder.

I am also amazed at how quickly you can find information on almost every subject, especially on “how to fix things” which I use quite often. My other favorite is all subjects on gardening which has been my biggest hobby the last few years. I have always wanted to plant a large field(s) of veggies that could then be given to the food bank. I’ve been able to do that on a small basis but not as large as I would like. Someday…

The pandemic has me concerned as my lung and heart conditions keep me home and I’d like to go out to dinner or just the farmers market but can’t and I am wondering if I will again any time soon. People need to wear masks to cut down the hospital stays cause if I have another heart attack or lung problem there will be a bed for me and one that does not increase my chances of getting covid 19. Get your shots too.
